We are delighted to hear that we have received The Wellbeing Award for schools. This award is very special as wellbeing and promoting positive mental health lies at the heart of all we do at The Grove.

Dear Parents/Carers,

Following the government’s announcement this evening, we will be moving to Remote Learning as from Tuesday 5th January until after February half-term (under current guidance). I fully appreciate that this is extremely short notice and can only offer my understanding and appreciation of the challenges this may cause many of our families. Remote Learning is already available on our website for all year groups and, from Wednesday 6th January, this will move to more detailed learning as outlined in our Remote Learning Policy (this can be accessed on the website under the Covid-19 section).

For children who fall under the critical worker or vulnerable categories, we will be offering places in school from Wednesday 6th January. It is important to note that these children will be accessing the same learning as their peers but with supervision in place. Children of NHS workers will be, understandably, prioritised. Further details for these children and information on how to request a place will be sent out tomorrow.

I thank you in advance for your support and patience as we plan for the days ahead. Our priority remains the wellbeing of our lovely children, yourselves and our staff and we will continue to endeavour to do all we can to ensure we support and care for our precious community throughout this.

Stay safe and look after each other.

Best wishes,

Mrs Anna Pemberton
