Year 2 Trip - Wiltshire Wildlife Trust

Following our term of learning about Where the Wild Things Are, Year 2 will be visiting Biss Woods on Monday 17^th November to celebrate the end of their topic. The Wiltshire Wildlife Trust will be running a workshop for the children linked to their learning in Science and Geography. We are all looking forward to a fantastic session!

POTS have very kindly agreed to contribute £200 towards the total cost of this trip.

To cover the rest of the cost, we are asking for a contribution of £10 per child.

This will pay for the coach travel as well as the workshop itself.

Please note, the children will need to wear old clothes, normal school shoes and a waterproof/warm coat, along with a hat and gloves. Please note that their clothes could get dirty so they will need to bring their school uniform in a separate bag, so they will be able to change into these when we return to school. They will need to bring wellies in a carrier bag to take to Biss Woods.

We do need some volunteers to accompany us on the trip. If you are available, please email almondclass@grove.wilts.sch.uk or speak to Miss Haines or Miss Swann. We will return to school at approximately 12:00.
