The School Day

All children are in the care of their class teacher or a teaching assistant during lesson times. At mid-morning break there are various adults on duty in the playground. At lunch time supervision in the playgrounds is by Midday Supervisory Assistants, who have the same authority as a teacher in the matter of discipline.
The Headteacher, the Deputy, or a delegated senior member of staff, is on duty throughout each dinner hour.

Children having lunch at home should not return to school before 12.55 p.m., and those children who are not stopping for after school clubs should be clear of the premises and grounds by 3.30 p.m. Parents are reminded that there is no supervision of children before 8.45 a.m.
