About Us

Dear visitor,

Welcome to our website!

Grove Primary School has over 400 pupils and 50 staff. We are the largest single site primary school in Trowbridge and one of the biggest in Wiltshire.

Our Vision

We place learning at the heart of all our activities. Everyone is a learner and we encourage an ethos of openess, enquiry and learning together.
We have a wealth of talent among our large staff who are encouraged to develop their skills further and they are key to making learning fun.
Pupils help to make Grove an exciting place to learn by being fully involved in generating ideas and making decisions together.
Grove has many links with schools around the globe and this helps to inform attitudes about the world around us.
We are investing in the future by ensuring that all pupils are computer literate and have access to new technologies where it enhances learning.

About this website

Please browse our site and if you wish, email us your thoughts about it. We are always keen to learn and improve, so get in touch or visit in person. Grove School has much to offer and most importantly it is a great place to learn.

Many thanks for reading

Why a new school motto and colour badge?
Climbing The Learning Tree Together

Imagine

An innovative school where children learn about different languages and cultures. Children learn how to cook and make interesting things. Children understand how to be healthy. They learn how to play musical instruments and enjoy sports. Children use wonderful technology to help their learning. They learn new skills at exciting school clubs. Children get to learn everything they want to.

A talented school where learning is fun. and exciting. Praise and help for all to succeed. A school where everyone plays a part in helping children to learn. There are lots of visits, theme days and drama opportunities. A school where parents and staff work together to help children. Talented people such as scientists, sports stars, authors, musicians, historians and language assistants help you to learn.

A caring, happy school where children are kind and sensible. Children share and trust one another. Everyone tries their best and has fun. Children respect each other and are polite. Children's ideas help to change things.

A shiny, colourful school which is bright and inviting. A school with wonderful displays and useful notices. A clean school which is tidy and safe with new classrooms and enough space for everyone. A school with plenty of room to put coats and bags. A school with nice outdoor areas to play and learn in.

Can you imagine this school?
Help us to make it Grove!
